no matter who you are,

no matter where you go in your life,

at some point you're going to need somebody to stand by you.

the earth contains 5 continents, 196 countries, and about 7 billion people

and there is a question,

a question that a lot of people have and still are asking themselves.

A question that some can easily answer and others don't have any answer

and especially for us young people it's one of the hardest existing questions,

Am I important in this world?

Am I Important In This World?

Yes

Yes

No. I'm not important.

Yes, I am important in the world.

I do not know if I'm important or not.

Yes! Of course.

Why?

I'm a professional

For someone to be among the important people

you have to study and go to a university and I can't have these.

Being important is being useful and for me being useful means using our gifts to help the society.

I think everybody in the world is important

because every single person in the world has a particular mission,

and it's the person's duty to find out what his mission in the world is.

If God gave me the life, I am important.

I used to give really good advice to my friends and I still do.

I won't be living this misery if I was important.

You see what I mean?

Can't you see the important people?

Men like Bill Gates who studies in big schools and big universities.

Because I never found anyone who made me feel important.

Sometimes, what makes people feel like they are not important, it's because they ask themselves: What can the world do for me?

But the question they should be asking themselves is; What can I do for the world? What can I bring to the world?

Am I important in this world?

It's a question that I often asked myself

and I found my answer while reading this quote of Benjamin Franklin which says:

A nail was missing because of that, the horse lost its horseshoe

because of that missing horseshoe, the horse was lost.

Now lacking a horse, the knight was lost,

captured, and slain by the enemy. The knight missing, the battle was lost.

All that because a nail of a horseshoe.

That's when I realized that in this world I'm neither the army nor the battalion of the army, probably not even the rider of a battalion of the army.

But even if I'm the nail of a horseshoe of a rider of the battalion of an army

I still have a great importance in the battle.

So whether you are a priest, minister, doctor, lawyer, businessman,

engineer, chef, gardener, police officer,

housemaid, unemployed, sick, poor, young, old,

strong, weak, man, woman, black, white,

whoever you are, you are a very important item in the big machine that represents the world.

And if you see the world isn't working properly,

that's because you or someone else isn't there or not fulfilling their role.

Because no matter how big a machine is, it will always need all its little pieces so it will be able to work properly.

So we are all important to the world

and what's most important is not what you have as your wealth,

but what you have in your heart.

Yes! We are important in the world!
